The Story of Four Kids

On the way, Will senses something following him. He reaches his house but is attacked by a mysterious, unseen creature. Will disappears without a trace, leaving behind only his abandoned bicycle. The next morning, Will’s mother Joyce Byers realizes her son is missing. The town’s police chief, Jim Hopper, begins an investigation. While searching the area, Hopper finds Will’s bike near the woods, deepening concerns. Meanwhile, Will’s friends start searching on their own. During their search, they discover a strange, silent girl with a shaved head and hospital gown hiding in the woods. She calls herself Eleven. The boys bring her food and learn that she has unusual abilities and knows something about Will’s disappearance. At the same time, Joyce experiences strange events in her home—flickering lights and disturbing sounds—that suggest Will may be trying to communicate with her from somewhere else. Joyce becomes convinced her son is still alive.
